Katerina Danek is a Building Performance Institute (BPI) certified shell and envelope professional and energy consultant. She is also HERS compliance and whole-house rater certified by CalCERTS. She has worked as an environmental consultant for many years. From 2001 to 2005 she owned ECA Mold Services, LLC, a residential, indoor air quality investigation firm. She has an extensive knowledge of building science. Originally from the Czech Republic, she earned her undergraduate degree in science at Charles University, Prague. Later she received her MA in Energy and Environmental Studies at Boston University.

Dennis Haskett has been a HERS compliance rater for several years and is particularly knowledgeable in the field of insulation. He has performed blower door and duct leakage testing, QII and PV verification on properties throughout the Bay Area. Dennis has a green energy contracting background and understands building shell/envelope issues as well as HVAC systems. The combination of advanced HERS training, construction work experience, and HERS rating experience make him a perfect consultant / rater for any insulation, air infiltration, or HVAC issues. Dennis is also a CalCERTS certified Photovoltaic field rater.
